The New Zealand Stroke and Aphasia Handbook version 4
The most recent edition of New Zealand Stroke and Aphasia Handbook was revised and printed in November 2019. It is specifically designed for people whose lives are directly affected by aphasia – the person who has suffered the brain injury or disease, their family members and whanau, their caregivers, and their friends.
This resource is free when you become a Friend of AphasiaNZ and it is part of the joining pack.
Additional copies can be purchased for $35.00 each. Please email us for more information.
We have a range of brochures which explain what aphasia is and how it can affect friends and family, and which provide communication tips and strategies.
Our aphasia-friendly education booklet Aphasia? is free for people with and affected by aphasia. It was recently updated to include information about fluent and non-fluent aphasia.
Contact us for a copy. Bulk orders for organisations are available at $2 per booklet.
