We run a range of events every year and publish an aphasia newsletter every quarter.
Open Door television documentary. Open Door is a unique form of community-based television that allows groups or individuals to apply to make a documentary about an issue they’re involved in. The production company, Morningside Productions, then works with TV3 to select the ten successful applications. The programmes are made using the expertise and equipment of the production team, but with participants taking editorial control. The series is funded by New Zealand On Air and broadcast on TV3.
AphasiaNZ was successful in our application for the current series and filming took place at the end of last year. The documentary on aphasia is to be screened on Sunday, March 14, at 11.35am, on TV3.
