Support Meetings
We run support meetings to provide an opportunity to share experiences and have open discussions with those with aphasia. We call these meetings Aphasia Hubs.
A person who knows about aphasia and can provide you with support facilitates most meetings. The meetings can also include guest speakers and the latest in training and communication techniques. The meetings are free of charge - koha welcome.
At present Hub meetings are running in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and Wellington. In Tauranga, there is a Korero Club for people with aphasia facilitated by our Tauranga CAA.
More details about Hub meetings can be found by clicking here and viewing the non-aphasia friendly page.
